2015 State Games of America Road Course

SITE: Pioneers Park (3201 S Coddington Ave, Lincoln)

COURSE DETAILS: Complete course details, including a course map will be posted at SGA2015.com and nebraskacyclingnews.com in advance of the races.

TIMES: 

Individual Time Trial check-in: 8 a.m.
Individual Time Trial competition begins: 9 a.m. Circuit Race check-in: 11 a.m.
Circuit Race competition begins: 12 p.m.

USAC LICENSE: Riders must have USAC annual license or purchase a 1-day license to compete. These are available for purchase on usacycling.org.

AWARDS: Custom State Games of America gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers overall as well as in each age group.

GENERAL RULES & INFORMATION: 

* All 2015 USA Cycling rules are in effect.
* Events will be held rain or shine.
* Place numbers on the LEFT side.
* Helmets must be worn at all times while on the bike.
* Valid and current USA Cycling license must be presented at rider check-in. * Race organizers reserve the right to cancel/combine events.

* USAC Permit 2015-1354.
* Wheel pit will be available as “wheels in/wheels out” only. Please make sure to identify your wheels properly and retrieve wheels within 30 minutes of finishing. Race organizers are not responsible for lost or stolen wheels.

INDIVIDUAL TIME TRIAL 

Riders will be released in 1-minute intervals per the order below.
Exact start times will be posted at SGA2015.com and nebraskacyclingnews.com the week of competition. Riders should report to the start house no later than 10 minutes before their official start time to check-in. The course will consist of TWO laps on an approximately 4 to 5 mile loop.
Junior riders will ride ONE lap.

CIRCUIT RACE 

USA Cycling race officials will time the first two laps and then show laps to go for each race. The Men 1/2 and Men 3 will start and race together.  Medals will be awarded for the top 3 overall and then top 3 for each category and age division.

Men 1/2 (19-39) – Noon – 90 minutes
Men 1/2 (40+) – Noon – 90 minutes
Men 3 (19-39) – Noon – 90 minutes
Men 3 (40-49) – Noon – 90 minutes
Men 3 (50-59) – Noon – 90 minutes
Men 3 (60+) – Noon – 90 minutes
Men 4 (19-39) – 1:45p.m. – 60 minutes
