nca-logo-150This coming Saturday, May 12th, the NCA will be putting on a training class for the AMB Chip Timing System.  This is your opportunity to learn what it takes to help with scoring at our NCA races.  There is zero cost for the clinic.  Financial considerations if you do decide to become a chip-timing operator are: you get paid to work at the races and don’t have to spend money on uniforms or licensing.

MOPRO12_Web2Friday May 11th, 2012, The Missouri Professional Cycling Series (MO PRO) returns top level national and international professional cycling to the streets of Missouri. The men’s and women’s professional field promises to bring the fastest show on two wheels to three signature neighborhoods in St. Louis City and County; the Delmar LOOP, the Forest Park Southeast GROVE and South St. Louis’ Dutchtown neighborhood.

The Missouri Professional Cycling Series is benefitting from an increase in the categorization of the Saturday, May 12th Tour de Grove to a UCI 1.2 sanctioned event and in the reduction of teams invited to the US’s largest professional cycling event, the Amgen Tour of California.  Many of the top teams in the US have shifted their programs to compete in Missouri’s top professional event.

2012_CCC_logoLincoln, NE -- The Nebraska road racing season fires up again with the Flatwater Cycling Weekend presented by Lincoln Industries, May 19-20. Celebrating its fourth consecutive year since being revived in 2009, the Flatwater Cycling Weekend presented by Lincoln Industries features two days of racing in the capitol city including the Capital City Criterium on Saturday and the Pioneers Park Grand Prix on Sunday.

"This race has come and gone through the years, but we remain committed to keeping it on the Nebraska race calendar for years to come," says Race Director, Sean Craig. "It is important to our team, our sponsors and most importantly, the local cycling community."
