Nebraska Cycling Association Annual Meetings and Clinic December 13th
The Nebraska Cycling Association announces the annual meeting and clinics for Saturday, December 13 at Mahoney State Park.

New Officials Training
This will be an opportunity to become a new USA Cycling Official. This is the “C” clinic and will introduce officiating at USA Cycling events in Nebraska. This class will include; introduction to officiating, professionalism as an official, basic mechanics of officiating, and will conclude with an open book test. Participants will need to bring paper, pen, and payment for your USAC license ($35.00). In addition to this clinic the USOC SafeSport Training and USAC Background Check will need to be completed. This training will be lead by Darrell Webb, NCA Officials Coordinator and Road A Official.
Race Promoters Workshop
This will be an opportunity to learn and discuss best practices, scheduling, working with and obtaining sponsors, budgeting requirements, and process of holding an event. One of the changes for 2015 is the Race Director Certification program. The Race Director Certification program will be discussed and what will be required for certification.
This training time is being led by John Lefler, Jr. who is serving as NCA Race Calendar Coordinator for 2015. This training time will also include discussion of the 2015 race calendar and reinstituting the Nebraska Rider of the Year program.
All NCA Clubs should strongly consider sending at least one representative to this training.
2015 Officials Clinic and Rules Meeting
The officials clinic and rules meeting will meet the renewal requirement for a rules review. This will be a discussion based meeting and will include review of rules, process of upgrading with a review of modules, scheduling for 2015 and the USAC Scheduling tool. Licensed official should plan to attend this meeting.
NCA Annual Meeting
The day will conclude with the Annual Meeting of NCA and plans for 2015 will be discussed and election for the board members will be held.
